COVID-19 UPDATE

Following the very welcome announcement this evening from the Government regarding the reopening of some sectors of the economy, we want to let you all know how this affects the Dandy.

Firstly, we will not be reopening on the 4th July.

We will be keeping a very close eye on the hospitality sector and infection rates, whilst continuing with safe distancing home deliveries for those who still wish to have a delivery. We’ll be monitoring on a week by week basis, with a view to reopening as soon as possible.

The MOST important factor is safety. The safety of you; our customers, our staff and ourselves. It’s also a daunting thought when we’ve all been so used to keeping away from others, to be back in a very small pub environment.

We honestly cannot wait to welcome you all back, but we will do so when we are satisfied it’s as safe as it was prior to Covid-19, for us all to be around each other, socialising, chatting, rubbing shoulders, shaking hands, because that’s what the Dandy has always been about.

Every business who now has the option of reopening will be weighing up the pros and cons. We are are all unique entities with different business models, commitments and responsibilities.

We thank you for your continued support and look forward to seeing you all again very soon.

Stay safe

Jo & Phil
